Quantity guidance
Approximate servings per litre: small portions for 14 guests, standard portions for 12 guests or generous portions for 10 guests. These are estimates; choose the generous portion guide if you would like a fuller confetti shower.
Storage & mixing
Store cool, dark and dry. FlutterFly® petals kept in an airtight container, separately from coloured petals, stay at their best for up to 12 months.
If adding coloured preserved petals, mix only 1–2 weeks before use. The stronger the added colour, the later we recommend mixing within that window to help protect the white petals from colour transfer. Once combined with coloured petals, use within 2 weeks.
Choosing & filling your packaging
If buying your confetti in litres, add packaging separately where required. Only white FlutterFly® petals can be packed in biodegradable glassine packets anytime, then kept cool, dark and dry until use. If choosing clear compostable packets or sheer organza bags, fill them 1–2 weeks before use.
If creating a coloured mix, we recommend sheer organza bags. Fill organza bags or clear compostable packets 1–2 weeks before use, following the mixing guidance above. Fill biodegradable glassine packets containing coloured petals only the day before use. Coloured preserved petals are not colour-fast and may mark clothing, particularly with prolonged contact.
